The SOUNDGUIDER offers online mastering for independent musicians, producers, and labels worldwide. Each master is handled personally — no algorithms, no presets, no AI — with unlimited revisions until the track sounds right. Typical turnaround is 4 business days, and files are delivered in every format you need for streaming, vinyl, and CD.

The basics

What is mastering, and why does it matter?

Mastering is the final stage of music production, where a mixed track is polished for loudness, tonal balance, and consistency across every playback system. A good master makes your music sound cohesive and competitive on streaming platforms — without flattening the life out of your mix.

What do I need to send you?

Send a final mix as a WAV or AIFF — preferably 32-bit float, though 24-bit is fine too. If you used a limiter on the mix, send a version with it and a version without it.

  • Final mix, WAV or AIFF
  • 32-bit float preferred, 24-bit is fine
  • Used a limiter? Send both versions, with and without
  • Reference tracks (optional but helpful)

Audio for video

Do you handle the audio for my music video?

Yes — and at no extra charge. If you have a video for your song, I will do the final render of the audio together with the video. Getting this right matters more than most people realise, and doing it badly undoes the master you just paid for.
